LPC666
I have a chance to buy an '09 Firebird, it is cream/white with dual humbuckers, does anyone know more about these guitars and if gibson is producing HH firebirds now?
Riffster
The Firebird Studio is the model that comes with stock humbuckers I believe.

Riffster
That's got to be a humbucker conversion. If that is what you want why not, but... The description of the item is too short, I would ask questions to the seller. First whether it is humbucker conversion and also issues with the guitar if any, tuning stability, frets, straightness of neck, etc. It may sound unncesessary but you'll make sure you they disclose this information. I mean it is an '09 and they are selling it.

[/quote'] +1 I think that's it's a Firebird V with Pickup conversion (mini-humb to humb) Ask the dealer the serial number and send an email to sevice@gibson.com , they can tell you what model is... good luck!
