Now I noticed that the final checklist (included in the case) has a different serial number than the guitar. My guitar serial number is 01419004, while the final checklist has serial number 01419005. (Inspected by PH or something like that). Is there anybody out there having my checklist? The guitar came in an original Gibson box, but had been opened and re-taped by Gibson Europe. How many of these instruments were shipped to Europe? How can I see that this guitar is not a fake one? Can I see from the serial number? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
eltonwce Posted December 20, 2009 Share Posted December 20, 2009 I had a similar thing happen to me several years ago. The store had two guitars, Blues Kings, on display with consecutive numbers. The guitars got put back in the wrong case. Just make sure you put the correct # on the warranty when you send it in. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
