Blackie
Well it is about the cheapest method..............bout $28 with insurance I have an SG Standard on the way from IL and I have much faith in the quality of Gibson guitars I have a lot less in run of the mill people and much less in the care that is taken with anything in the back of a semi slamming down the highway. So did the people shipping the guitar de-tune it as we all know is standard anytime you travel or ship an instrument. I am protected from any damage.....I can send it back etc.. but I would rather just get the thing intact. I am going to bet that the guitar was put in the case in tune.......and it will still be in tune with neck intact if it arives at my door............ Mark
I did some work for UPS a few months ago. Lets just say that FRAGILE is not a recognized word. They just throw everything.
Riffster
Yea, when they ask me: is it fragile? I respond: does it matter?
