DonCarlos
I noticed today that I was having trouble bringing a couple of my strings up to pitch. As carefull as I tried I couldn't hit the notes, via harmonics. Never had that problem. Humidity is fine in the case at 40-48 percent. My strings are only 30 days old. The neck seems true and the Roto's are tight. Everything else appears to be true. Perhaps it's time to take the guitar in for a setup; if so, I will wait for new strings coming in the mail (LOL). I'll be upping the string gauge anyhow. And I had 6 free setups thrown in for my guitar when I bought it, so may as well start using them. That's my only guess. ksdaddy
Look for a little crud in the nut slots. A tiny bit of buildup can change the point where the string 'begins' (for lack of a better way to say it). I've had them be in tune when plucked open but go crazy sharp when fretted due to this, all other things being 'right'. And you could just have a couple bad strings. It might sound like oversimplifying things, but it happens.

ksdaddy
No, no, some nice GIBSON strings, hand made by little old ladies in good old Elgin, Illinois. Uhhhh..... never mind. Hope the last one out turned the lights off.
