NeoConMan
Yep...someday I'll get around to buying another Flying V. I know several guys who have them, I love playing them. I had an Epi V for a few years. It was one of the Hot Rod mod jobs. Duncan pickups, new tuners, Gibson pots and switch, new Gibson pickguard and logo. It had a cheap Korina veneer over some sort of mystery wood, but it sounded pretty good. Played GREAT! Fun guitar with HOT pickups, but I rarely played it. It was never gonna be worth anything and at the time I was literally out of room for guitars. It went off to Ebay, didn't make a dime on it. Lost a bunch of money actually, even with a Flying V hard case. The prices on the really cool Gibsons always kept me from buying one. The best prices are on the '67 style V's with the TOM tail and knobs in a cluster - never liked that style. Anything with knobs in a row and a V tail piece are always much higher priced.
