String Savers

I break strings a lot on my epiphone at the bridge. I have tried sanding down bridge saddles and adding graphite, and I even just broke the 6th string! I am looking into GraphTech string saver saddles. Do they prevent string breakage? How do they effect the tone?

I put a small drop of 3-In-1 Oil on the saddle every time I change strings. I have not broken one string since I began doing this. Prior to doing this, I used to break strings quite often.
