Fender took over DeArmond like they did Gretsch, but they absorbed their models into the Fender line. The Korean-made DeArmonds were sold as Squiers for a while. MojoRedFoot Posted February 11, 2010 Share Posted February 11, 2010 I really wonder how it sounds...:) My uncle used to have the 2 PUP model. It's jazz by nature. As I recall it sounded real nice. I don't remember waht kind of amp he has. It was several years ago. He sold it to get the Gibson Chet Atkins hollowbody (the one Gretsch originally made). I have only ever seen one other one.
