Oubaas
Well, I called the guy and it seems to be something called a "Super 400". Anyone familiar with that model? From the serial number he gave me, seems it's a 1936 model. I guess it's in pretty good shape, too. He said it belonged to a relative who left it to him. Seems like $800 negotiable is a reasonable enough price. Too bad I recently bought a horse, I might have gone for this, I kind of like the old archtops, just don't know much about them. Cheers! stevef
My son and I visited a store near us last weekend they had a couple of Super 400s in stock (lefty '37 & righty '36) VERY EXPENSIVE ($12,500 for the lefty, $10,500 for the righty). Here's pictures of the righty. Link to store is http://www.larkstreetmusic.com/index.html.
Taylor Player
Considering the above post.... $800 would be MORE than fair!
