I happened to drive by the Gibson plant a few days ago and I was thinking it'd be nice to knock on the door, show my receipt and get the guitar right there...would't it be nice... Explorers are backordered until January 11, kind of blows becasue I have been off work for a a week and I was planning on playing the hell out of that explorer while I took my LP for a setup. Instead I have not taken the LPin yet and also when the explorer comes in (if indeed comes in around the 15th) I will be heading to Mexico for a week... GuitarJunkie a lot of websites did have the explorer gow 43 for sale, some still do so you should get yours soon I would guess. I even saw one on eBay this week...
