L5Larry
When I got my first ES model in 1980, a '75 ES-335, the FIRST thing I was amazed at was how comfortable and easy the neck was to play. The sonic range of the 335 is also very wide from the variations available from the pickup selection and tone setting. I played the frets off that 335 and had to replace it. I "upgraded" to a 345, and love that guitar also, but I would recommend the 335 as the best all-around guitar in the 300 series.
loneguitar
+1 on that. Since I bought mine new in '91 I've never looked back. You won't be disappointed.
JazzGtr
The 335 would be the best out of this group. I owned a limited addition 335 with black binding and antique red, solid maple top. But in the end she was to large for me to play. I sold her. Jazz
