Allie Posted April 29, 2014 Share Posted April 29, 2014 Even though I believe this thread has some time behind I'll add what I've found out about Gibson necks cracking.....I have been told that during the early 90's Gibson used a two way adjustable truss rod and if anyone didn't know what they were doing and made even minor adjustments they COULD crack the neck in the guitar and some even popped the finger boards loose this way.
