FirstMeasure
So, I'm taking the Tremolo off of my MIM Deluxe Players Strat and I find this Waxy Substance caked in the Six Screw Holes that hold the Trem to the Body. I assume it was some sort Lubricant from the factory. Now I'm getting ready to replace the old Trem with a new Trem and was thinking about using Beeswax on the mounting screws. What do you guys think, Bad Idea of Good Idea? What Lube would you recommend?
Cruznolfart
Can't help you with how to lube your screw-holes, Shon, but I'm sure it's baby-oil for your nuts.
