ironlung40
I dont use deodorant so I dont have to worry about that This is awesome!! LOL Anyway, here is my take on the matter. I often visit guitar shops that carry old vintage guitars. I was in one about a week ago that had 4 or 5 vintage SG's from the 60's and 70's. Some were in better shape than others, but they all had aged quite significantly. The feel and vibe of these guitars was most awesome. The feel of an aged, worn guitar is really special. So, I don't worry so much about my guitar aging or becoming a relic like piece. I in no way abuse it, but I don't obsess about it either, because I hope, my guitar will one day feel as good as those old ones do. I rub my down, with a dry cloth after playing it most time, not every time. And I use just typical guitar spray cleaner on it when it gets dusty. I spray just enough on the cloth to dampen it and rub it down to do this. I don't apply anything else. I am thinking of oil for the fretboard, but haven't had a need to do this yet as the board looks and feels great.
