tyroneslothrop
Hello. I love the feel and playability of my new Blues Hawk, but want to get further away from my main guitar, and Tele. I was told that adding vintage Gibson P90s or other brand like Lindy Fralin, will warm up the tone and make it more distinguishable from the Tele. Has anyone tried this? Any opinions? Thanks PS... If it is alright with the moderators, I will also post this in the PUP section
NeoConMan
I LOVE P-90's. Hell, I'd put them in a Hello Kitty guitar and play it with pride....
Explorer
I love P-90s. They are just magical sounding. Quite possibly the best clean to crunch pickup. They arent quite as good for leads as humbuckers, but they are extremely versaitile. I've played my SG classic in a jazz band, blues band, funk band, rock band, ska band..... the list goes on. Personal P-90 favorites: 1. Fralin 2. Llorars 3. Old gibsons
