Joe M
I asked about this model a while ago when I first purchased it. Wondering if anyone has any new insight about the model. The one I have was made in 1993, no fretboard markers and no electronics. Gloss top, back and sides. I'm pretty sure the back and sides are rosewood, but not positive. Anyone have one or experience with one? Thanks
Pickax
A J-60 was the 1st Gibson I owned. It had square shoulders, Rosewood back and sides, fret position markers, gold vintage style open back tuners and an older style Gibson logo inlaid with MOP on the headstock. It was a very very nice Guitar and one I wish I still had. There is some info on these Guitars if you do a google search. The earlier ones did not have fret position markers. Mine also had the gloss finish. I think they were made in an attempt to compete with a D-28. Later versions were called the Bonecrusher.
davenumber2
Some of these were also made with maple or walnut b/s in addition to your rosewood model. They were only made a couple years I believe.
