lineman795
My has only been playing for about 2 yrs. now. His music scholl is closing the instrument sales and rental section. They have offered me a Gibson Les Paul Bass made in 2000 never used. They are asking $1800. My question is, is this t much money for a bass that is discontinued and sitting in a box for ten yrs. Murph
Honestly, something like that is worth what someone will pay for it. At the right moment I would pay 5K for a NOS Recording, and they didn't fetch a third of that brand new. I've got a beat up, re-finished '61 Melody Maker that sold new for a few hundred bucks I wouldn't take 10K for... If you like it, buy it. Best of luck. Riffster
$1,800 for a Gibson Bass may be is too much, 10 years old and in the box don't make it more desirable, in my opinion.
