layboomo Posted April 14, 2008 Share Posted April 14, 2008 That's alot to ask of a 5 watt amp but it could work for you. It has the potential to be a bit of a bastard load impedance wise. You could run 2 16Ohm 10's and an 8Ohm 15 all in parallel for a 4Ohm load....but I would be inclined to suggest 2 heads.....1 for the 10's and 1 for the 15. layboomo Posted April 14, 2008 Author Share Posted April 14, 2008 My friend who had a similar lay-out was also using a 30w Head for this lay-out... Yeah thats a bit better for pushing a 15" speaker IMHO. I have a cab that I built for my fender bandmaster witha 15" altec and a 10" jbl and the clean tones are amazing with that combination.
