LP uLTRA I or II or LP Custom

SUp guys, im getting my first elec. at the end of the year and i wanted to see your opinions on which one YOU guys thing is better

 

 

the LP Ultra 1/2 ( the ultra II hasnt got a price on the retail list so im still thinking about thatone) ^^

 

 

or the LP custom

I would look at both the Ultra I and the 56 Gold Top Reissue. I've got both of them and they are night and day apart sound wise. They are both much lighter than say the LP Standard.

I've tried the Ultra II. It has the acoustic neck pickup which to me doesn't really sound like an acoustic. That is a personal opinion. Had I brought it home and played it through my Genz Benz acoustic amp, I may have a different opinion.

As I said, the only major difference between the Ultra I and the 56 is sound and about $100 CDN. Both great guitars.

Do you think the sound difference is because of the chambering or something else?

 

EDIT: I see it's got P90 pups.

yeh i was thinking if the sound differed caus of the chambering caus if its caus of that iwudnt get hte ultra series and just get the custom
