I want to add some wiring options to a humbucker and i've been thinking about what to add since a LONG time.

I want a single coil sound but i dont know what to get. Either a series/parallel or just coil split. how do both sound?

i really dont want to add a rotary switch (well, dont know) to get series/parallel/north coil/south coil options.

Well the p_up in question will sound different depending on how the coils are arranged or split.

You'll need push-pulls to achieve that and the best thing to do is to go to the

Seymour Duncan website..and select Gibson style wiring and then look at all

the different possibilities with coil splitting..

go to: support/wiring diagrams/Humbucker

make the selection and then go from there..

here's an example of one way to do it...
