arw321 Posted November 6, 2008 Share Posted November 6, 2008 Hey guys, I just put a switchcraft switch in my les paul custom and am having a strange problem: The bridge pickup works fine when switched accordingly - middle position also seems to work fine (both pickups on). However, when I switch to the neck pickup only, it doesn't work at all. I can't figure this out. It can't be a problem with the switch itself as I've tried swapping the bridge/neck wires on the switch and either way the neck pickup won't work by itself. Any ideas? Epiphone 57CH is 7.8 Kohms Epiphone HOTCH is 14K ohms or you could wire the neckPU directly to output. At least it will tell you if it's working. arw321 Posted November 6, 2008 Author Share Posted November 6, 2008 Well, the reason why it wasn't working is because I'm an idiot - I had the neck pup and output jack wires reversed on the switch.
