Steven Lister
A churango (or cerrudo charango) is what you'll be looking for -- here it is: And don't forget to chew those coca leaves on the hike up Machu Pichu. Peru is a cultural feast. Have a blast. Hit every BLUE NOTE baaaby..., I'm going to play on:-"
Guitar Chico
Whoa. This is coincidental for me cuz this dude in my pe class got pissed off at this girl who he called a mexican but she was peruvian. Whoa... Sorry... That was my random (kinda) quote of the day. LOL! Ok back to guitars... GC

They are handmade by Marruffo Gonzalez. I went in the back and they were nice to show how they make them. This is the professional model it has a timber tone adjustment on the back of the neck. http://www.mustangmods.com/ims/u/1759/13288/266596.jpg http://www.mustangmods.com/ims/u/1759/13288/266598.jpg This is the semi-pro model I purchased for my nephew http://www.mustangmods.com/ims/u/1759/13288/266597.jpg Yes and I did try coca leaf tea. It's a way of life in Peru to chew coca leaves. It actually gives a bit of a relaxed feeling. http://www.mustangmods.com/ims/u/1759/13288/266599.jpg Here's an image from my hotel room at the JW Marriott in Lima http://www.mustangmods.com/ims/u/1759/13288/266600.jpg And the final image is the reason why I'm in Peru. I'm the guy in the back with the light-blue long-sleeved shirt. The purpose is to train and set-up a 17025 calibration lab process for torque, compression and tension for the Peru-Caterpillar Metrologist Team. http://www.mustangmods.com/ims/u/1759/13288/266601.jpg
