gibiphone Posted December 22, 2008 Posted December 22, 2008 I'm not that familiar with acoustics. Is Carey holding an ebony Hummingbird or Dove?
Mike54 Posted December 22, 2008 Posted December 22, 2008 Check out the truss rod cover in the picture. Dove and Hummingbird have those words written on the truss rod covers of their respective models. Although we can't specifically read it, the word is too long to say "Dove". Ergo - Hummingbird!
theDeuce Posted December 22, 2008 Posted December 22, 2008 I`ll vote Dove too, as I haven`t seen a black hummingbird. Edit: I just looked and learned both come in black, so nevermind me.
jman99 Posted December 22, 2008 Posted December 22, 2008 It is a hummingbird if my memory is correct. I saw the clip on tv. MF sells black ones.
gibiphone Posted December 24, 2008 Author Posted December 24, 2008 Well, that is certainly conclusive, Thanks.
trossit Posted December 26, 2008 Posted December 26, 2008 I`ll vote Dove too' date=' as I haven`t seen a black hummingbird. Edit: I just looked and learned both come in black, so nevermind me. [/quote'] They do have Hummingbirds and Doves in black finish.
TommyK Posted January 5, 2009 Posted January 5, 2009 I saw that movie over Christmas break. I could tell it was an Epi. Though, I was thinking Dove, but that Carey feller flits about so fast.. not unlike a hummingbird, I couldn't get a fix on the guard to say whether the bird was a 'Bird or Dove. Thanks for stopping the action. I never knew they made Blackbirds. Who'da thunk it? Nope.. don't care for the Blackbird. Gimme Cherry burst anyday. BTW. Not a movie to take the kids to. It's okay for most of the flick, but my conservativeness came out in more than one scene. Yup... Hollyweird is really lowering the bar this year. More so to come with the new administration coming in.
TommyK Posted January 5, 2009 Posted January 5, 2009 Just curious... How'd you fellers get those stills? Yes Man isn't out on DVD yet... is it?
