Just to double-check myself, shouldn't a 12au7 work in a Valve Jr. I paid with Paypal so I'll get my $1 back. Don't worry about me, I won't need a government bailout. I'm dumb, ignore me. I searched, found confirmation information that I was looking for. I guess it's just a bad tube. Geez, you spend $1 on a tube you'd think it would work.
