Best course of action is this, copy posts and send to mods with your objection. Leave it up to them and it's the Epi forum, not mine or fubar/casinos so we'll have to live with that. For my money.. you see the projection going on pretty clearly. Fubar gets allys, 'girlfriends' as he puts it, and they gang up. When anyone reacts in my favor, that action is projected and he claims we are the gang. So even though nobody has talked to me about this except in these threads, fubar tells us what he and his friends are up to by projection. It's a strange sort of confession, isn't it? I also notice that many of the people objecting aren't even in the other forum. So, again, he's angry about getting booted from that forum, and holding the same sort of grudge as he holds against me, and, again, projecting it onto anyone in here. so.. here's what I'm saying.. I'm not going to reply in any way to anymore of these posts. This is it. From now on, I'l just send them to the Epi Mods and let them decide who's being fair and who's causing trouble. I can't get anything for me, or for the forum, in any other way, because it seems to just feed his ego and give him glee. I don't know about you, but it hasn't worked for me. The attacks to date have been so childish and sophomoric, they only make the posters seem like they are either drinking heavily or unstable. I'm going to heed the advice of the mods on the EpiWiki forum, i.e., to refuse to even acknowledge posts by Fubar (and all of his aliases). That doesn't mean avoiding the otherwise valid thread. It was my understanding when I signed up it said Epiphone not Snafus hit and miss guitar parts business. Gibson obviously feels the same way as hes been warned to cease and desist. I was after some different pickguards for my sheraton and I saw a lot of posts from a 'TWANG'. I studdied a lot of his posts and found them all to be informative. This guy obviously knows what he is talking about. Not only that but he is willing to share this knowledge with others, something which I appreciate in any forum I visit. I have had a lot of communication with TWANG over the last week or so and he has gone out of his way to help me out. He didn't have to! I have got 2 pickguards coming for my sheraton and I will judge them both when they arrive. The thing is this. TWANG has god knows how many posts on this forum and nearly, if not all of them are very good to read. If I thought this person was in any way dodgy, shoddy or anything else anyone wants to call him I wouldn't have gone ahead and got in touch with him. Each to there own but so far I have nothing but good things to say about TWANG. At the end of the day if this Fubar had a bad experience he has every right to say his bit, that I can understand. Theres just no need to keep reading all of this other crap from 'other members.' After all a $16 or so pickguard isn't going to break the bank. Its probably sitting on a $600+ guitar. I posted it about the color. the white guard, on a sheri with slighlty cream binding was the point. I think the table lamp made the white less white. and I already shipped the guard so I can't retake it. the lower portion isn't fit perfectly, it sits up on the mounting ring, so that if there's a difference between my sheri and the dot it goes on, it only takes a bit of filing to make it perfect. If I cut it to fit mine and it was then too small for the dot, that wouldn't be any good. And when people swap pups, sometimes there's another difference in the size of the mounting rings. Metal fit differently, plastics vary, etc. So it's better to have a guard that may need a bit of work instead of one that just wont fit. the plastic covering makes it seem the edges in the close up are ragged.. but that's just the plastic. It fits tight. I wanted to show the color, as you don't normally see anything but black or tortoise, save for my blondys cream guard. I'm not restarting an argument here, I'm just restating the reason I posted in the first place. My next thing is a cream pearl guard for a sheri.. I think that my look pretty cool. I'm building a cream pearl.. have you seen a sheri with a cream pearl? I haven't. It will look nice. Stop arguing nonsense, please.
