gibsonbass76 Posted January 25, 2009 Share Posted January 25, 2009 I bought a '99 dot the other day for cheap, I thought they all came with grovers, but mine didnt. When I tried to tighten the tuners I found that two of them had broken shafts, so they couldnt be tightened. I'm looking at hipshot tuners hipshot tuners but do they fit? and if they dont, what are some good options. I dont mind spending a little more to make this a killer guitar. wardog Posted January 25, 2009 Share Posted January 25, 2009 i got the grover deluxe tuuners with the keystone buttons. very nice. they fit shaft holes fine, but you will need to add holes. i was able to line afew up with the stock grovers, but the delx has 2 holes for each tuner. so, again u will need to add some. for the ones i could not line up. the tuner casing covered up nicely.
