Ron G
Multi-piece neck, thinner than the Dot. Bling. I think that about does it.
charlie brown
Max, this subject has been done "ad nauseum," so (please) if you'll just use the search feature, you'll find lots of info, and opinions. But, it boils down to "better" build quality, cosmetic enhancements, and a slimmer neck, on the Sheri's. Dot is "basic" as a ES-335 is basic, to a ES-355 in Gibsons. Good hunting. ;>) CB

The Chinese Sheri's seem to have a non-multipiece neck, these days. Don't know about the profile, if it's changed, or not..as I've not had an opportunity, to compare the two Sheratons. Maybe that's what they call a "3-piece maple neck," nowadays?! ;>) CB
Ron G
CB, you are correct! The old "specifications subject to change" gig, huh? But then again, it is 3 pieces, isn't it.

But then again, it [b']is[/b] 3 pieces, isn't it. LOL...yep! sstc strikes again! But, technically, you're right...it IS 3-pieces. I like the newer body shape, though...it's much closer to what (Gibson style) body shapes were. So, at least they're not so "Generic" looking, now. But, I did like the 5-piece necks, on the Korean versions. So...gain something, lose something else. CB
