AldoMcD1
I have found out that my local guitar store has just received a pre-owned Riviera. I'm going to view it tomorrow and wanted to know what sort of price range the guitar should go for? I have no other details on this until I see it in person. charlie brown
OK...Given those limitations...from $400-600(recent Asian) to $4-5,000+(USA '60's Vintage). Obviously, photos will help (a lot) narrowing the gap. ;>) CB

AldoMcD1
Thank's for the replies. Had a look today - very nice guitar. It had some general fretwear and had two dings - one at the tailpiece and one above one of the 'F' holes. The retailer was selling for £400 (approx $570) with an Epiphone elite hard case. I took a note of the serial number (R06120157) The guitar was manufactured at the Korean Peerless plant in December 2006. I've decided to leave it for now as the dings have put me off a little. However, I thought that it was a decent price for a guitar which has been discontinued.
charlie brown
Always a good idea, if it just doesn't "do it," or "feel right," for you! There will be others. In fact, there's an "Elitist" Riviera (Red) on E-bay, right now (02-18-09)! CLEAN, too!! CB
