yeah, and I've never seen a tail piece like that on a bass before either. The knob area looks similar to an old Les Paul Triumph bass...but not quite.

 

How' bout some less blurry pics? I mean, really...help us out here.

i bought it on ebay ..

will get it this coming week ..

just wondering what it was ...

 

when i get it ill take good pics..

i bought it just as a second bass,my main bass is gibson sg ...

Take some pics when you get it and we'll see what we can come up with.

 

And as for pics of the whole range of the Epi bass models over the years, I'd like one too. Epi used to have an archive page on the Gibson site, but they took it down last year. I was bummed. I used it many times to identify discontinued models.

Just did a GIS. Yeah, I gueas you are right. Some are like that. Never played or been very interested in hollow body basses. lol. You learn something new every day.

It looks like any bass from California! I lost a Fender Musicmaster Bass to theBay Area earthquake in 1989. The ground shook for about two minutes where I lived and over that bass went and boom goes the neck!
