Guitar Chico
Don't know what the quality of the AJ-1 is, but they're awfully cheap today on the stupid deal of the day on MF. http://guitars.musiciansfriend.com/product/Epiphone-AJ1-Acoustic-Guitar?sku=518681 GC
pohatu771
I got one for my friend about two years ago, when they were still only $80... they're pretty good, especially at that price.
theDeuce
It's a good price for a good first guitar. Hold out for a solid top guitar if you already have a good starter guitar.
YerDugliness
I had an AJ-10 for a while, it was a decent guitar and had a mellower sound than most of my solid-wood top guitars. It was my campfire guitar until a friend needed a new guitar and I couldn't bring myself to give away one of my better quality guitars, so the AJ-10 became a gift for a friend. I would not hesitate to buy another (I understand the AJ-1, the AJ-10, and the AJ-100 are the same guitar). I paid $100 for mine with a "cardboard" case......didn't give the case away, though, I had another use for it. Dugly
Old Black fly
Thats a nice price for that guitar , but i would hold out for an Masterbuilt AJ model, they are all solid wood constructing.
