TWANG Posted September 24, 2009 Share Posted September 24, 2009 you probably lost a washer inside.. there's a trim ring style beneath the nut.. and there's another inside.. if the jack fell inside, that fell off most likely. You need to hold your guitar up and shake it gently out of the F hole. It will probably be ok to not have it on. and fairly hard to get it back on.. what I'd suggest is.. put the nut and washer on the outside back on.. then grip the edge of the jack with something trying not to bend the threads.. and tighten down your jack nut. that's the easiest way to do it.
