Guest icantbuyafender
WOW big difference between 300k cts and the standard run of the mill 500k alpha. I was able to score them at around $4 bucks a piece from guitarelectronics.com I bought enough to outfit my gibson pup equipped axes. I did my goldtop and with knob pointers and new gibby gold knobs (amber was too dark) and those pots really make the tone control very responsive. I recommend them. i got 4 guitars worth for around $60 and get this... free shipping when you order over $50 bucks, plus a discount per item when you buy more than 5. I havent put my goldie down yet! Guest icantbuyafender
Excellent. Which Gibson pups' date=' what tone caps, Lin or Log pots?[/quote'] Used 490R/490T on my epi LP std. burstbucker 2 and 3 on my epi LP classic 490R/498T on my epi G400 490R/498T on my reissue epi wilshire cheap artec mini's (that are rather good for 20 bucks a pair) on my goldtop which is going to soon have gibby minis by december each has the 300k audio taper pots with .047uf orangedrops on the neck and .022uf orangedrops on the bridge. just used a low speed rotary tool to widen the control pot holes (hardly anything really.) Im so impressed.
