Coup Posted October 27, 2009 Share Posted October 27, 2009 Hi, I'm new to this forum today. I have an Epiphone Casino VC. I bought it off ebay about 2 months ago. I've tried the serial numbers in the data project site but it does not register. The serial is R99P 0308. I understand the coding and it seems to be the 'P' that is the problem because it does follow in sync with the months. I'm almost certain it's not a fake. Has anybody else had this problem. Thanks. Parabar Posted October 27, 2009 Share Posted October 27, 2009 The "R" would indicate the Peerless factory in Korea, the "99" would indicate it was made in 1999. Ususally the next letter would correspond to the month, with A= January, B= February, etc. so I'm not sure what the "P" indicates. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
