el capitan
Just bought a '66 on Ebay-anybody any experience with these? Epi version of B45-12-Clapton had one in Cream-should be good!
johnl
What type of bridge does it have (pinless, pinned, or trapeze)? I've got a '65 Bard with the pinless bridge. It's got a set of Martin Extra-Light strings on it, and it sounds great! I'm sure you'll like your Bard (and I believe Gordon Lightfoot is another B45-12 player). bonzoboy
I may be mistaken but I believe the Roy Orbison model now on sale is based on his Bard that he used to compose songs on,most notably Pretty Woman whose first 5 notes are printed on the headstock&case. ---------------------------------------------------------
el capitan
Yeah, right, my local music shop has been expecting an Orby since September,& I got fed up waiting(ditto for the Texan!) Think I'd rather the '66 original.A Chinese Roy Orbison makes me think of Benny Hill!
