mrstrat
I was out walking the dog and came across a guy playing a Epiphone PR5-E Acoustic-Electric Guitar "SB". And wow that guitar really sounds nice. He let me play it for a bit and i love it. And came home and looked it up. $329. That price is low for a guitar of that quality. Before I buy one. What do you guys and girls think of this guitar????
geelinus
I owned one and regret having sold it. It was a very nice guitar for the money: great for fingerpicking or strumming.
TommyK
Not a bad set-up if you are looking for an acoustic / electric hollow body. They are thin too, if that's your preference. "SB" means the top was sun bursted.
Sjael
I played one while looking for an acoustic, but ended up settling on an Ovation. Worst guitar-decision I think I've ever made. :) Go for it, they look and sound fantastic!
The_Buffalo
Was he running it through an amp? I tried one in the store the other day (unamplified), and my Hummingbird sounded louder & clearer. If you don't need to amplify it, you may want to look at acoustic guitars.
