ozigor
I have the chance to buy a EJ200 sunburst for a good price. I'm hesitating because I'm wondering if the guitar is a compliment to my DR500M or too similiar. I'd like to hear some comments regarding the difference between the two. cunningham26
EJ200 doesn't have a solid top, and so the way it sounds now is likely the way it will sound forever. I think they look good but sound bad. If you have to have an sj200 style, go for it, but don't expect it to sound like one
hekawi
i have one, and it's almost worth owning for the looks alone...it is a gorgeous guitar. no, it doesn't sound as good as my Martin but i wouldn't expect it to for the price. it does do well with a soundhole pickup through an amp. and it's very cool to slap a capo on it for "Here Comes The Sun" just like George Harrison.
