waterloocasino
I just bought a Casino as my starter guitar and am really enjoying it. The challenge I'm having is that my ring finger and pinky don't like to work independently. Are there any good finger exercises I could be doing to help with this? The book, Speed Mechanics by Troy Stetina has many exercises to build up technique and speed in lead play It begins with those to develop finger independence. The book is useful for more than just metal, IMO.

I don't have any advice for you on this one as I am just learning too' date=' I just wanted to respond to say that Waterloo sucks. I'm just kidding - I live at Albert and Weber. All the advice I can offer is to practice as much as possible and it will eventually come to you. Repetition is the key here. Also, the [i']Learn and Master Guitar[/i] course is really good and the exercises in it are helping me, I strongly suggest grabbing a copy of it. I'm looking for a good one in the area as well.
