carverman
i do' date=' how do you post pics in this forum[/quote']You need to open a free acct in www.photobucket.com. Upload the pics from your computer there. Use the forum URL link provided under your pictures copy those links and paste into your post here in the forum It's better to have a pixel reduction application to reduce the size of your pictures. as it will take some time on large picture formats to reconstruct the picture on this forum. It also takes up a lot of bandwidth. I use Irfanview, which is free and downloadable to reduce the size of mine down to 640/480 by using the resize feature. mooseguy
Hi Rattler Congratulations on your 96 Excellente-I have owned a couple and am presently still playing one. These guitars were made in Korea and have nothing to do either quality wise and rarity with either the original Epiphone Excellentes made between 93-70 and or/ the Gibson Bozeman reissues made for a very short run in 93-94. Although somewhat rare, they do come up for sale time to time on EBay Latest sale within the past 2 months was at $450. Regards, Moose
rattler360
so is the guitar well made, or should i trade it for a breedlove
mooseguy
Hi Rattler Breedlove is a far superior guitar to your Excellente reissue in all respects- If you wish to get rid of your Excellente, please Email me at: d.dogs@verizon.net Regards, Moose
rattler360
well im interested to know more about the guitar, ive read good reviews on it even though its korean, its in excellente condition i paid abot 850 for it
el capitan
Rattler, Comparing a Breedlove and an Epi Excellente is like comparing an apple and a pear! Which do you want? What do you like? I bought a sunburst Excellente from eBay some years ago & it's one of my main gigging guitars. It sounds great acoustic and amplified-it's tough(well-built & the laminates can take a knock). It plays like a dream. Most important-it looks great and I've never seen another one! Keep it-you're in a pretty exclusive club! Cheers!
rattler360
the excellente is a beautiful guitar, and in like new condition, i traded for it, i also had a breedlove pro, which was 60 percnt usa built. 40 percent korean.

Hi Aldo I don't know how this 96 Korean reissue picked up a Kalamazoo Label but blanks are readily available. I do think however the owner should write commercials for Epiphone as he sure waxes poetic. Moose P.S. Next day after above remarks: This EBay listing has just been pulled. As the famous Chinese philosopher ONE HUNGLOW once said "He who waxes too poetic is really most pathetic"
