dukeh62
Hey guys, I just picked up a '66 Riviera that was converted to a Bigsby before I bought it. I don't use the the Bigsby so I'm thinking of going back to a Frequensator. I have a lead on an original. What can you tell me about them? I've heard rumors of tuning problems, but have also heard folks say they are stable. I do lots of bending, so I need it to stay in tune. Any other insights you could share would be great! Thanks! [/quote'] They are stable AFAIK. Some string sets may be a bit short on the D string though.
brianh
What Carver said, very stable, never had any tuning problems on mine. Gibson L5 strings are more than long enough and they sound great. Cheers and congrats on the Riv.
