I have never done this on a stock board and I think that's screwing me up.

Plus not really reading the schematic right.

it seems..

r6/7 wire from board to tip switch input on jack.

and then a jumper to the unswitched ring of the jack running to the pot.

so if no TRS stereo cable, using a stereo jack, is plugged in the signal goes to tip and over to

the ring unswitched side.. to the vol pot lug 1.

left side looking at the back of the pot.

plug a trs in and it takes the signal r6/7 sends to pedal

comes back through the ring switched side.

but wait. if it's plugged in then it wont connect to the unswitched side.

how the heck does this work.

r6/7 to switched tip of jack..

then jumpered to the ring tip?

would pass down the cable through the effect and back to the ring switched side..

this is making me crazy.

ok thinkamifying cap on.

board to vol lug 1

vol middle lug to unswitched side of ring

jumpered to tip switched side.

unswitched side of tip to pin 7. it's already connected so no jumper there.

so with no cable in.. we have preamp to volume to switch to pin 7.

cable in we have preamp to vol pot to tip switched side. now disconnected from the unswitched side..

to pedal via trs cable back to ring switched side..

which is jumpered to tip unswitched side.

which connects to pin 7.

that's it. it's gotta be.

that gives me one connect to lug one. right off the board.

one connect to switch from vol pot. to ring unswitched side.

one connect to pin 7 from tip unswitched side.

a complete circuit with no cable. and volume pot working with cable full in.

and power amp break in if you plug in halfway.

lord.

that was hard.

you should see all my drawings.

but it does what it's supposed to do.

leaves the preamp and pot in with trs or without.

and takes it out for pwr amp break in.

of course there's a ground, too.. I know.
