colin23 Posted May 26, 2010 Share Posted May 26, 2010 Iv'e seen a few pics in post's where folks have swapped a 3 hole trc for a 2 hole, can anyone post pics of whats going on with the screw holes? bynapkinart Posted May 26, 2010 Share Posted May 26, 2010 This one was simple, no extra drilling required to put the new "old" TRC on. Here's some pix of my process: I did it to my 335 copy as well, but the bell cover on LPs and Gibsons won't fit the top screw...you'll have to drill into the headstock to get those to fit. I was happily surprised to discover that the old ones fit right on the profile of the new 3 hole ones....all i needed to do was pick up tap washers from Home Depot. $2 total project cost lol (plus Steve's generosity).
