animalfarm
Impossible to use sticky thread as vehicle to pass on info to Forum Members. It's updated again, just wanted to let you know, and now you DO! Continue to "Evolve". Or would that be Revolve? Posting this to put out the word... Latest group of Additions and Clarifications made: *Added to Cross Reference/Comparison Section - EPIPHONE 1998 Specifications Guide (includes Epi Strat/Tele styles) (Thanks to Robin the Hood for the "heads up"!) Good for info on older models. *Added "How to Dull a Poly Finish" - if you've just GOTTA... *Added to "Guitar Pickup Info" section - "Epiphone Pickups Specification/Description List" "Gibson Pickup Data/Description Sheet - PDF Format" *Added "Potentiometers De-Mystified" to Pot/Wiring Section *Added "300Guitars.com" to TECH TIP Archives - Interesting Stuff! animalfarm
Thank you, thank you "verruh mush"... I just do it because I "collected" many notebooks full of info, then thought - " Good Grief, let's post this stuff so ALL can benefit from it!" I learned from RESEARCH. I'm trying to make it a bit EASIER for our "Forum members" to find the info they may want/need. IF you have a topic or Question that the current "DIY" sticky does not address, please create a thread about that topic. This WILL be noticed, and perhaps included in the "DIY" Sticky. There have been many useful topics provided, such as "How to level your own Frets", but I've avoided including this as most members are not Quite at that level of "DIY" yet. But I DID save it to "favorites", so it's ready for inclusion. Good Topic, though. If you should find a GOOD link, post it at the end of the "DIY" thread (I check for posts), and we'll see if it applies to our general membership. As a rule, I WATCH for questions about topics that are repeated over and over. If the topic is one that other folks need to know about, I'll snag links and info, then "conglomerate" the topic into a sub-topic or link. Newbies ask a lot of the same questions, and "oldie" members occasionally need info from the other Forum Members regarding opinions, specs, etc. Hence, the creation of the Lounge "DIY" thread. It is ALWAYS under "construction", and it will NEVER be Perfect. Inputs welcomed... Thanks!
