pohatu771
If you're removing the entire set harness, it's much easier to go through the pickup routes. If the pickups are coming out anyway, save yourself the trouble.

pohatu771
Without looking at the photo, I'm sure you're referring to the ground wire that connects to the tailpiece. You'll have to disconnect it from the rest of the electronics. [EDIT] Yes. That's the ground wire. Thank you for confirming that! I don't have a Casino! The other members of the Epiphone TDC family would differ, but the Casino's lack of a center block eliminates any challenge.

CajunBlues
I agree with pohatu771 ... that is the ground wire that connects to the bridge or tailpiece... disconnect it from the pot and leave as much wire as possible.. you may want to extend it a bit for when you have re-solder it... Anthony_JB
Thanks for all of the information!I got all of the wiring out and I'm in the process of sanding it down now. Take you're time with it and let the sandpaper do the work. You'll sand through the veneer in a blink of an eye. Coming from the same kid who sanded and refinished his Casino and a fellow Texan!
