tommyb
...is on it's way, should have it Friday. I chose this one because of the traditional mahog/maple body construction per the Gibsons. I figure it should reproduce the tone I'm used to hearing having owned Gibbys in the past. I'm expecting a nice looking, well-made instrument based on the two Epis I currently own (EB-3 and Masterbilt DR-500MCE). I think this one also WAS issued in a wine red last year which is the one I would have chosen but I guess that finish has been discontiunued. I chose the burst cherry. I picked the 1960 neck as it's what I'm used to. The asymmetrical neck is an interesting concept, but it's one of those things I would want to actually play to see if I'd go for it.
