Anyone have an extra $325,000? $295,000? $149,000?

Was looking at a Vintage Git website that would fit very nicely

in the Lounge "DIY Thread", addresses many, many, many vintage

gits and amps. Oh, and some of the pages have the links to

COMPLETE OLD VINTAGE CATALOGS!!!

 

Was looking at Gibsons, specifically for info on the Gibson "The Paul"

model I used to own, Found this site. At bottom of page are CURRENT ebay listings

for the vintage gits. Good, Gawd.

The Epis are slightly better, most expensive was only $12, 500.00... [biggrin]

I read an article in Vintage Guitar Magazine a few months ago that said a Les Paul cost about $260 in 1958 and that between 1958-1960 that $100 has the approximate buying power of $750 in today's money.
