tommyb
The last few weeks a commercial's been running for FreeCreditReport.com showing different rock bands supposedly to replace the previous band...the whole thing's silly but I thought I caught a glimpse of the bass player in one of them playing one of these: Epiphone Jack Casady Bass
audiomitch
I don't know about the commercial, but that bass is in my future!
tommyb
Yeah, that is a nice bass, and it's one of Epi's higher end ones.
audiomitch
Yeah' date=' that is a nice bass, and it's one of Epi's higher end ones. [/quote'] That's what I love about Epiphones. Even the "high end" ones are affordable!
tommyb
That's what I love about Epiphones. Even the "high end" ones are affordable! I'll bet it's really a great instrument. When I ordered my EB-3 SG for home recording a couple months ago I didn't expect much, truth be told. I was wrong. It doesn't look or play like what I thought a $300 bass would. It's now my third Epi, and each one has not dissapointed. I gotta believe this JC bass is a winner.
Golem
` JC's are kinda huge and uncomfortable for me, even tho for a while I played them ... had two at once. If you find yourself reacting the same way to the size, don't forget the Epi Rumblekat. It's a short scale, and for some that rules it out. But if short scale is cool with you, check it out. It's about half the price, and for me it's the better playing ax regardlesss of cost. `
