NickNice
Hi everybody. A friend of mine is about to buy a EB-0, but I did warned it against starter pack and so he is looking for an amp. All he need is a practice amp, nothing expensive , but good quality. Hope you will answer me fast!
Golem
` Then he clearly needs a used amp. In general, you need a 12" speaker to get real bass sound. Exceptions tend to be expensive. One exception thaz remarkable and not expensive is an old Peavey 30W MicroBass with its 10" speaker. I've played it in smaller and mid-sized clubs ... and it's got that good old "something for nothing" magic that Peavey is known for. The owner of that amp used it for a long time with an Epi EB-O so your *specific* application is covered ! I've played my own basses thru it as well, sitting in. He has borrowed my basses, so I've heard the EB-O and other basses thru it, lizznin from out in the audience. Universally cool. When money is an issue, Peavey is the way to avoid buying cheap trash. `
