Dub-T-123
I know it's the Gibson forum but I'd rather ask here. The action on my Tele is starting to bug.. It's too high. The action on my SG is nice and low and then I switch over to the Tele and it feels a little bit awkward. I got the case candy with my Tele so I have a couple Allan wrenches that I think I'm supposed to use. Any help is appreciated.
SG FAN
There are two allan head screws on each saddle, just loosen them the same amount. Just keep track of how many times you turned them . That's how my Strat works so I'm pretty sure they are close.
Dub-T-123
Thanks. Should I loosen string tension before adjusting?

Nick Beach
Thanks. Should I loosen string tension before adjusting? You don't have to. Just retune after each adjustment. And I always make the d&g strings higher than the two E's to fallow the radius of the fret board. Most of the time I just eye ball that, but if I'm doing it for someone who I know is picky about their set up I'll use a radius gauge.
