Cheeks
Yes, BLUE GLASS is used on these ARCTURUS vacuum tubes. They are getting very rare to find however. They look very pretty when powered-up. I had many of them several years ago, when i was restoring antique radios. Mine are all gone today however.

Cheeks
Are you selling them? I repeat the abover: "I had many of them several years ago, when i was restoring antique radios. Mine are all gone today however." I suppose one could mix some artist's acryilic tube paint with water, to make a translucent thin paint and paint some tubes with it to see what would happen. You may have a little burnt spot right at the exact top of the tube however from the heat over time. These ARCTURUS tubes had actual colored glass envelopes on them. The glass itself was altered to that color. and... NO, i am not selling anything. I am only sharing past experience with you...

jefrs
I've got a bottle in an old wireless radio receiver that looks like Venetian blue glass. Sorry no pics but much darker than those shown. The radio is ancient and dangerous to operate, transformer on speaker and live chassis - blows mains fuse/breaker, so I've no idea if the valves are good or blown
