I won one of his CD's as a prize from one of the local radio stations (WDST Woodstock, NY)in my area a few years back. I was pleasantly surprised by his musicality and as you mentioned, his lyrics are good. He's one of those under-rated artists. I say artist because he's a more rounded musician who plays piano as well as guitar.
