newlife15 Posted October 4, 2010 Share Posted October 4, 2010 hi everyone, i just traded one of my epi dots for a 2009 epi les paul standard plus top. is it just me or are the pickups getting better on these models? i enjoy the sound coming from them whether in neck or middle position they sound(to my ears pretty good. at least at bedroom volumes. i don't have the most articulate ears so i want to hear from some of you who have really good tonal ears :-) anyone else have any thoughts on the quality of pickups coming from china? thanks newlife15 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I'm guessing - Bridge: HOTCH(G) 13.5Kohms, Alnico Classic Plus Neck - 57CH(G) 8.5Kohms, Alnico Classic These were the standard Pups for LPs and G-400 in 2008.
